With COP 300,000 million, the Colombian government (Ministry of Labor and Social Security) implemented the 40,000 FIRST EMPLOYMENT program for young people with no experience, involving 8,138 private companies that hired 40,000 youths for a year, who were paid the salary, Legal benefits and social security, 6 months on account of the program and 6 months on behalf of the employer.
Vs. With a similar investment our program would generate 3,048,462 NEW "PERMANENT" JOBS (76.2 times more jobs), removing 13,413,234 people from poverty in the first 10 years.
