In addition to the activities carried out by the authorities to regulate the use of public space and street vendors, we propose to offer them legal jobs - with minimum wage and social security - carrying out promotional activities and walking advertising. Because we understand that unemployment, the need to survive and cover all basic needs, generates anguish and despair in people, leading them - if necessary - to work in unworthy, labor and commercially informal conditions - or illegal - like it evidenced in our streets
Criminals take advantage of the chaos and the proliferation of people in the streets to attack citizens We are tired of living threatened in our own city, fearful of being docked and of paying even with our lives while a definitive solution arrives that guarantees us to live in peace. |

In addition to the actions taken by the authorities to control crime, including increasing police force, judicial capacity and the size of prisons, we believe that citizen security could improve significantly if all unemployed and vulnerable people were able to count With legal and permanent employment that allowed them to support themselves and their families with dignity.
The poor condition of the people who are seen on the street and the activities that must be done to survive offer a very bad image of our city and all of us - citizens - as a society This does not make us see anything right, that among us there are such vulnerable people, living in such adverse conditions, unworthy and unequal, without legal and permanent employment to obtain their livelihood and that of their families with dignity. It is a shame! |
